This is the knife locking bar for the following Delta and PC planers: 22-520 type 1 and 2, 22-565, PC305TP, TP305, TP400LS. This bar holds the knife in position. Occasionally a piece of wood get driven up under these and they bend. Once they bend wood gets under the knife and the surface is no longer planed flat. It's an easy bolt on fix.
